Valcom Antennas Joins Canada’s Polar Over-the-Horizon Radar Project

Guelph, ON — August 12, 2025: Valcom Antennas (Valcom Manufacturing Group Inc.) has announced its participation in the Polar Over-the-Horizon Radar (P-OTHR) project—an initiative commissioned by Canada’s Department of National Defence to enhance Arctic surveillance and security.

Working alongside ATCO Frontec and the Inuvialuit Development Corporation (IDC), Valcom will contribute its expertise in high-performance antenna systems to help develop advanced radar infrastructure capable of monitoring Canada’s northern approaches far beyond the line of sight.
